 Royal Bardia national Park situated in western Terai of Nepal is one of largest undisturbed parks in the region. The park is the home of many endangered animals, reptiles and birds - including the elusive Tiger. Some years ago

several one horned rhinos where translocated here from Chitwan. Over the years Bardia has also been a good place for tiger viewing - a rare event anywhere. The possible reaching there is by cruising on a bus 12-13 hours from Kathmandu or taking a 90 minutes flight from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj and a few hours Van drive. This is the only national park with a large territory of Royal Bengal Tigers and a huge river - the home of the fresh water dolphin. Of course its flora and fauna are worth exploring.
