One of the best things about a river trip
is how little you need: all you need is a pair of shorts and a
thermal top. Many companies supply light waterproof nylon
‘paddle jackets’ and of the river or weather is likely to be
cold them they may also provide wet suits, and thick thermal
tops.

Takes old comfortable
clothes and gear the you don’t mind getting lost, damaged and
wet. Leave valuables likes passports, credit cards, travelers
cheques, air tickets etc. back at your hotel. Rafting agencies
also provide you the safe deposit facility. |

Cotton
clothing is really pleasant for hot sunny days but is cold when
wet. Wool keeps warm even when wet. Modern thermal fleece, pile,
or similar polypro are quick drying and ideal wear for cool days
in the river, often worn under a pair of shorts.
